Kelly left her start-up career in marketing and promotions to become a freelance business writer and editor. Since then, Kelly has been creating innovative documentation for leaders in the software development, content management, and telecommunications industries. From brochures to best practices guides, Kelly tackles each project with an enthusiastic commitment to quality. Kelly was also the publisher and editor-in-chief of Toronto’s Painted Post magazine—a dream she had since landing her first job at a glossy national magazine. Sure, she had to wash the coffee mugs every day, but she was in publishing, and she loved it!
Kelly graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English and History. However, it is Kelly’s uncanny eye for detail (she is an obsessive proofreader) that led her to pursue a professional editing designation. Kelly has since edited hundreds of publications, ensuring that all final copy is perfect before it goes out the door. Kelly offers her writing, editing, and proofreading expertise to Tribal Communications on a freelance basis.
When not attached to the computer, Kelly spends her summer days dragon-boating on Lake Ontario and hiking the Bruce Trail and spends her winter days longing for summer.
