Fraser Barnes is the CEO of ProGrid Ventures Inc which markets and promotes its own methodology for addressing the intangibles of complex decision making. This proprietary methodology comes complete with its own software and has applications in numerous fields.
Barnes wanted to improve their sales process and chart out why their sales techniques were faltering and ultimately stunting the company’s growth.
Barnes also noted that ProGrid was having difficulty communicating their definitive value proposition to its end user and even how to best qualify and approach prospects.
Referred to Tribal Communications, Barnes met with Tribal’s partners which fuelled a lengthy discussion. Tribal adopted a unique approach by holding a full-day workshop with ProGrid’s principal consultants including founder Dr. Clement Bowman.
The post-workshop report was a real eye-opener for Barnes. Tribal was able to identify the issue and clearly define ProGrid’s key selling point. “The Tribal report really clarified why some of these initiatives were going nowhere, and that was the affirmation we needed to change our strategy,” Barnes says. “So we switched it around almost 180 degrees.”
Barnes appreciated Tribal’s hands-on approach and with a new strategy in place, ProGrid now has a better understanding on how to successfully reach its end-user in a more effective messaging and positioning framework.
