Hailing from Kenya, Sagar (or Sagi as we like to call him) came to North America to study Management & Marketing at Georgia State University and later moved to Canada where he graduated with a degree in Management & Organizational Studies from the University of Western Ontario.

At Tribal, Sagi is responsible for managing projects, creating and improving business systems, upgrading IT infrastructure, and controlling finances. Sagi brings a wealth of business and technical expertise that is invaluable to Tribal’s operations.

While at university, Sagi decided to get hands-on business experience for which he travelled to China and established The Westner Language and Culture Orientation School in Beijing. The school founded by Sagi provided not only teachings in English language but also the North American way of life and customs. The school targeted prospective Chinese students who were to attend US or Canadian schools in the following year. Learning from this entrepreneurial venture, Sagi led a team from his university to win a silver medal in a North America wide Business strategy game.

While away from his desk, Sagi is a globe trotter who has hiked not only the Appalachians and the Rockies, but also The Himalayas up to 20,000 ft; and he’s always more than happy to share stories from his countless African safaris over a cup of coffee.
