Being the sales lead for a company that specializes in helping other companies sell more effectively means that Pat is perhaps under more pressure to perform than most sales representatives. His knack for landing new clients without ever appearing to actually sell has been the subject of intense scrutiny and research at Tribal.
Pat started his career working in the software industry, beginning with as the team lead for documentation at an ERP software vendor, and then progressing to manager of documentation for Bulldog, a company that produced a digital asset management solution for the entertainment industry. While at Bulldog, Pat became involved in all aspects of corporate communications, from web content to RFP submissions. Taking that experience into Tribal Communications, Pat has spearheaded a wide variety of projects, from RFP upgrades to gap analyses to telesales scripting. The perspective and experience Pat has gained from working with dozens of sales managers and reps has been a key element to every sales solution Tribal has produced for its clients.
Pat has a BA in English, Rhetoric and Professional Writing from the University of Waterloo.
